Barry Parkes looked at the scale one day and it read 325 pounds. He said he always told himself 300 pounds was his limit so he knew he had to make a change. He admitted that cutting carbs or trying to diet wasn’t something that he knew he could stick to so he looked for a simple change that he could do forever. That’s where his Fitbit came into play. He created a calorie budget and promised to burn more calories than he was consuming every day. He began walking more and more and he ended up dropping 122 pounds in a years time, all from that one small change.
