The town of Oak Park, Michigan is backing off its plan to ban clown costumes for Halloween. Earlier this month, city officials tried to ban clown costumes at its annual ‘Boo Bash’ event, claiming that parents had complained the costumes were too scary for small children. But after residents complained on social media, the town reversed the ban, telling parents to “use their best judgement.”
