Jim Gaffigan let the world know that “a beer preference is personal” but then went on to rip just about every option out there. The 52-year-old comedian is no stranger to mocking food choices, but it appears he is either out of touch with the current state of the beer market in America or was just looking for cheap laughs.

One line he says is, “I guess I’m a traditionalist. I don’t want a beer that tastes like chocolate or oranges or avocados. He continues, “I want a beer that tastes like, I don’t know, beer.” To be frank, many traditional beers do feature notes of chocolate or fruit. His opening constituted “fancy beer” can only be opened with a bottle opener when now many craft brews are in cans.
