A 72-year-old woman is recovering from injuries after being gored by a bison at Yellowstone National Park. Officials say she tried getting close to the bison several times so she could take a picture. This happened near the woman’s campsite last week at Bridge Bay Campground in northwest Wyoming.

Park visitors are supposed to stay at least 25 yards away from all large animals in the park. Officials say this attack serves as a reminder that wildlife in Yellowstone National Park “are wild.” Another woman was also gored at the park last month.
