A Florida man was arrested in Lady Lake after a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy said the 28-year-old exposed his genitals to drivers while running across four lanes of traffic.The man continued to flash the uniformed deputy after he was confronted and ordered to cover himself, a Sumter County Sheriff’s Office report said.The incident happened at about 11:36 p.m. Saturday on County Road 466 near County Road 105, the report said. The deputy was driving east on the highway when he saw a man, later identified as Justin Carl Walker, of Oxford, standing on the shoulder.

A strange twist was revealed in a murder-for-hire case in Morgan County Monday. A husband is trying to help his wife who’s accused of wanting him dead. Sarah Shepard is accused of paying an undercover cop to kill her husband, Richard Shepard. Hartselle police say faked his own death to help them charge her. Shepard helped her attorney try to convince Morgan County Circuit Judge Glenn Thompson to reduce her $500,000 bond on Monday. “This is not something I have anything to compare to. I’m baffled,” Thompson said.

NBC’s “The Voice” is straining over a scandal involving Blake Shelton’s alleged racist, homophobic and just-plain-creepy tweets. After social-media mavens managed to dig up the offending messages — which were posted between 2010 and 2011, before Shelton became a household name — we’re told that publicists for the NBC talent show called at least one major media outlet and threatened to cut off access to the show’s stars, and tapings, if it continued to cover the kerfuffle.

CAMBRIDGE — An adviser to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump doubled down Tuesday on comments he made saying that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton should be shot for treason. But New Hampshire state Rep. Al Baldasaro, a Republican who co-chairs Trump’s national veterans’ coalition, stressed that he was not saying someone should assassinate Clinton. “The liberal media took what I said and went against the law and the Constitution and ran with it, and they said that I wanted her assassinated, which I never did,” Baldasaro told The Republican/MassLive.com.
