Desperate passengers aboard two diverted Air Transat planes in Canada resorted to calling 911 to plead for air, food and water after being stuck on the ground for hours, according to reports. Air Transat Flight 157 from Brussels was scheduled to arrive in Montreal at 3:15 p.m. Monday, but was diverted to Ottawa because of thunderstorms, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. It finally landed in Ottawa about 5 p.m. after more than eight hours in flight – but then sat on the tarmac for six more hours and the passengers were not allowed to get off, according to the CBC. “The plane actually lost power and went zero AC [air conditioning], and then now we’ve got the doors open and one kid is puking, and people are just losing their minds,” passenger Laura Mah told the outlet. “They’re just getting mad, saying, ‘This is not all right, this is not OK, you can’t do this to us.’ The police are in here and the fire department’s in here and they’re telling us that they can’t do anything, that we just have to stay put.”

A Daytona Beach man is banned from Volusia County beaches for six months after the mother of a teenager told officers he was giving out a business card that read, “Sugardaddy seeking his sugarbaby.” Richard Basaraba, 73, was not charged with a crime and told police he had been passing out business cards Saturday to young females on the beach who all were older than 18. Officials are making Basaraba stay off beaches and walkovers because he gave out business cards, a violation of a Volusia County ordinance that prohibits soliciting on the beach. In an interview at his beachside condo Wednesday, Basaraba said he had no nefarious intentions toward the girls and was “devastated” by what he considers an overreaction from law enforcement. On Saturday, a 16-year-old Oviedo girl told Beach Safety Ocean Rescue officers that Basaraba approached her and two 18-year-old friends and handed one of her friends a business card that read, “Sugardaddy seeking his sugarbaby,” a report states.
Boner Candidate #3: THE FILET O FISH SANDWICH IS IRRESISTABLE
A disgusted Uber Eats customer has claimed her McDonald’s burger was delivered to her door with a few bites missing. Kanchan Sheemar, 37, had ordered a Filet-O-Fish meal and double cheeseburger with extra pickle and onion from McDonald’s in Hayes, which is 17 miles west of London, on July 9, after working a night shift. The retail assistant had been looking forward to her meal but said that when it arrived the filet-o-fish burger was half eaten – with teeth marks in the bun. She said: “He dropped the food off and I had a look at it 10 minutes later and basically the burger had chunks of it that had been eaten. “I was just repulsed, it was just disgusting. If you are paying money and they are providing a service you would not normally expect that to happen. “I go to McDonald’s all the time, really often, and I have never had that, where the food has been eaten.” After complaining to the delivery company the price of Kanchan’s Filet-O-Fish meal was refunded, but she says she had to throw out all the food.
