
Marilyn Manson already has some acting credit to his name, from cable’s Californication to Eastbound and Down. Now, Manson will appear in CBS’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand. Manson told Revolver magazine that in addition to starring in The Stand, he has covered The Doors’ “The End” for the miniseries. No word on airdates for the plague horror miniseries yet.

In other news, it’s reported that Manson wants to drop a book this fall and an album before they end of the year. He is also heading out on tour starting Tuesday. There is no date set for Utah at this time, but you can see a full listing at marilynmanson.com.
