Study Determines How Many Rock Songs You Need For A Road Trip

Many of us will be heading out on the road for Thanksgiving next week – and science can help you craft the perfect road trip playlist

A new study by UK-based company Uswitch.com found the exact number of songs needed for the ideal road trip soundtrack – calculated by popularity, music style, and even which part of the country you’re driving in.

A trip down Route 66 would require 474 rocks songs, while California’s Big Sur highway needs just 32. On average, expect to have roughly ten songs per hour of driving.
