Boner Candidate #2: Ohhhhh Bourbon!

A Kentucky bourbon maker, Wes Henderson, was removed as CEO of a major whiskey group after being accused by family members of secretly filming them having sex at his home, according to a lawsuit. Henderson was fired from his position as CEO of TKC Distilling, which owns the Kentucky Castle and True Story Whiskey, after a lawsuit filed by relatives alleged that they discovered 15 hidden cameras recording them while they stayed at his house near Melbourne, Fla., in June 2025. According to the lawsuit, the family removed the cameras and their SD cards, and watched the footage, “which captured intimate acts as well as images of themselves in various stages of undress and using the restroom, The cameras also captured the defendant, Wes Henderson, having sex with other women (not his wife). Upon information and belief, the cameras captured other adults having sex, as well as footage of what appeared to be a homeless individual, potentially a minor, who happened to be carrying a portable medical device, using the restroom,” according to the filing. The group alleged they told their relatives and Henderson’s wife, who “gave (them) permission to sweep their Oldham County, Kentucky home for similar hidden recording devices,” where they claim another 15 similar cameras were discovered, according to the lawsuit. No criminal charges have been filed against Henderson, and the 60-year-old Bourbon Hall of Fame member refuted the allegations made against him.

Boner Candidate #3: Cash for Grades

An Iowa substitute teacher was fired for pressuring high schoolers to help fund her “medical mission” to Ecuador in exchange for extra credit. Stephanie Mullaley, a full-time, long-term substitute, was canned from her post at Clinton Community School District on May 29 for allegedly violating the school district’s ethics policy. Mullaley is accused of offering her students extra credit points if they donated money to her personal GoFundMe account, which was created to send her and her husband, Nick, to Ecuador in July. The now fired educator said she and her husband had been invited to go on the South American trip but needed financial support from friends and family, according to the since-deleted fundraiser. “Nick & I are embarking on a journey this summer with a medical mission group,” Mullaley wrote on a Facebook post alongside the link to the defunct fundraiser. “This was only a thought a year ago, and it became real when we got an official invitation end of 2025. “Feels like a blessing to have an opportunity to serve a community in need of medical service and utilize my skills and serve. God put this in place for us, and we’re answering it,” she wrote. “Hope to have your support, and if you can’t financially, we understand and just keep us in your prayers.” The fundraised money allegedly would have been used to cover transportation, food and hotels. Golden denied the ex-teacher unemployment benefits after it came to light she had pushed her students to give money. The judge found that Mullaley had demonstrated a “willful or wanton disregard” of her employer’s interests, declaring her conduct made her ineligible for the benefits
