JAMES GANDOLFINI: Paramedic Trial Begins … ALLEGEDLY STOLE ROLEX AS ACTOR DIED
One of the paramedics who rushed to James Gandolfini as he was dying in Rome, stole his $3,000 watch … according to prosecutors. Claudio Bevilacqua’s trial started Monday in Rome. It’s still unclear if he allegedly stole the Rolex Submariner right off the ‘Sopranos’ star’s body, or if it was lifted from his hotel room. TMZ broke the story … Gandolfini’s people reported the Rollie was missing to his insurance company back in 2013, a few months after he died of a heart attack. At the time, there was no suspect named in the theft.
PRINCE: COPS INTERESTED IN POSSIBLE FATAL DRUG MIX
Prince could have died from a fatal mix of drugs, and cops are particularly interested to see if the singer had a combination of Percocet and the synthetic opiate Buprenorphine in his system. Sources connected to the investigation tell us they do not know what killed Prince, because the medical examiner still does not have toxicology results. They are, however, very interested in why Prince’s doctor and the son of a rehab doctor were both at the house when he died.

NBC has made official the recent rumors that “Access Hollywood” anchor Billy Bush is joining “Today” for its 9 o’clock hour. Bush will begin appearing on the New York-based morning show during NBC’s coverage of the Rio Olympics in August, the network said Tuesday. Bush has hosted NBCUniversal’s “Access Hollywood” for 15 years and “Access Hollywood Live” for six years.

Sinéad O’Connor may be safe, but that doesn’t mean she is well. A day after the “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer, 44, was located by authorities in Wilmette, Ill., she posted an unhinged Facebook rant directed at her ex-husband and family. “Every one of you had better pray I die,” she wrote in the post. “Because I’m suing the f—–g lot of you for what you’ve done to me if I manage to live through it.”

Chris Brown got thrown off a private jet for allegedly hotboxing the aircraft. TMZ obtained a Miami-Dade police report which says cops were called to the Signature Aviation at Miami International Airport Monday after Brown’s pilot complained he smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the cabin. We’re told the pilot had warned Brown and his entourage not to light up on the aircraft, but they ignored him even before the plane pushed back.

So far, these are the facts as they currently appear: Pierce and his girlfriend got into an argument with three others in a hallway at the Loews Hotel in Atlanta. In the midst of the discussion, the three alleged victims (two of whom are still unnamed) began walking to their room and were followed by Pierce and his girlfriend.
