The most expensive new car ever made just sold for a whopping $19 million. The Bugatti ‘La Voiture Noire’ – French for ‘The Black Car’ – was unveiled this week at the Geneva auto show, where it was sold for a record 16.7 million Euros, or $19 million dollars. The vehicle sports a 1,500 horsepower 16-cylinder engine and is based on Bugatti’s Type 57 SC model from the 1930’s, which are worth as much as $50 million today. The identity of the buyer is being kept a secret.
