Someone in California is waking up nearly $700 million richer today.
Lottery officials announced a single ticket sold in Morro Bay matched all six numbers drawn Monday and is the lucky winner of a Powerball jackpot of $699.8 million.
No one had won the game’s grand prize since June 5.
According to Powerball, the odds of winning the grand prize were just 1 in 292.2 million.
