A 90-year-old California man has been charged with murdering his stepdaughter in a case that involved data taken from a Fitbit. Police say 90-year-old Anthony Aiello attacked his stepdaughter, 67-year-old Karen Navarro, with a kitchen knife inside her home. Aiello told police he wasn’t there at the time, but Navarro’s Fitbit showed her heart rate spike at the same time surveillance footage showed Aiello’s car in her driveway. The Fitbit showed her heart rate stop eight minutes later.
