Congress is working on a second major coronavirus relief bill that would include direct payments to Americans. Here’s what’s included in the latest Senate proposal:
The $1 trillion package includes another round of checks similar to the ones sent out in April – $1,200 for individuals, $2,400 for couples, and an extra $500 for each dependent.
The $600-per-week federal unemployment benefits that expire this week would be cut to $200 per week.
The Help, Economic Assistance, Liability Protection and Schools (HEALS) Act would provide another round of direct stimulus payments to Americans, freeze Medicare premiums, offer more PPP funding & more. Here's what you need to know. #forbesadvisor https://t.co/pS1R5IM04B

The bill also includes tax credits and more PPP loans for small businesses and restaurants. Needless to say, the bill isn’t loved by a lot of people saying it falls short offering more assistance to business and not enough help to the people.
Senate Republicans have waited over TWO MONTHS to release their half-baked proposal, the #HEALSAct.
What does it do for the 30 million unemployed workers, laid off by no fault of their own?

What do you think should be included in the next bill? What will be the impact of cutting the unemployment benefits?
