When the public demanded breakfast past 10:30 a.m. at McDonald’s, they got it put on the all-day menu. Now, they want burgers served up alongside their McMuffins! Apparently, burgers in the early hours have been a demand for quite some time at the franchise. So, why can’t you have that patty until after 10:30? According to a former employee of 25-years, the reasoning is pretty simple. The kitchen simply cannot accommodate cooking eggs and other breakfast items at the same time as burgers. He says, “There was no way to cook a hamburger at temperatures used for eggs.” Apparently, some McDonald’s locations outside the U.S. are testing an “All Day Favorites” menu which means you can eat what you want, whenever you want.
