Does it really take 6 years?
Kroger has announced they will stop sacking your groceries in single-use plastic bags by 2025. The nation’s largest grocery store chain will switch over to reusable bags. Kroger store QFC in the Seattle area will be the first chain to be plastic bag free. They are expected to transition over by 2019. Kroger operates over 2,700 stores in 35 states. They have over 2 dozen different chains.
