Man Captures 20-Pound Goldfish – Using a Biscuit as Bait

It turns out there might be some truth to the childhood story that flushed goldfish sometimes grow to a monstrous size. A Kentucky man has reeled in a massive 20-pound goldfish — using a biscuit as bait. Hunter Anderson says he was driving with his girlfriend through Danville when they passed a local pond. He had his rod and reel with him, but no bait — but he decided to fish anyway, using a piece of a leftover biscuit. As it turned out, the biscuit worked better than he could have ever imagined. “It was one of the hardest fighting fish I’ve ever fought; I was screaming and jumping up and down,” Anderson says, adding he then released the fish back into the pond. “What am I going to do with it, really? I thought it deserved to swim another day.”
