Could a mobile-only subscription soon be coming from Netflix? Malaysia is being used as a guinea pig for a mobile-only subscription. The cost? Around $4 per month. The test plan costs just 17 Malaysian ringgit ($4.05) a month, compared to its Basic plan which costs 33 ringgit ($7.87). The company won’t say which other countries might get an opportunity to test out the new plan. It makes sense for Netflix as they try to grow their subscriber base.
