Kangaroos aren’t just cute Aussie animals, according to one Nebraska school chef they are also a good source of lean, nutritious meat. Kevin Frei admitted that he added kangaroo to his chili that was eaten by junior and senior high school students at the Potter school. Kevin said that the meat wasn’t unhealthy or dangerous and apologized for any anxiety that eating the exotic meat may have caused. The cook didn’t explain where the meat came from. The superintendent told parents that this would not happen again.
