There’s a serious divide on Twitter these days and it has nothing to do with politics, sports, or television. It has to do with how you draw the letter “x.” The debate started when a Twitter user with the handle @SMASEY drew eight different examples of ways to draw an X. When others saw the variations they began to say their way was the right way and the divide began to get wider as the day went on. According to @SMASEY, most Americans drew and X like examples 7 and 8, but people from the UK mostly drew it like number 5. The divide got even larger when left-handed people entered the debate.
Also this is so interesting to me – which way do you draw an X? Colored line being the first stroke pic.twitter.com/a0WTl8WT7P

This is how we draw and X in the #CokethorpeMaths Department! This is, of course, both the correct, and only way to draw an x in Mathematics! @SMASEY @AndrewBloch #CokethorpeResponsibility pic.twitter.com/KOCAclYVrN
