“Venom” Sets an October Record

Despite the bad things critics said about “Venom,” the antihero movie set a new October opening record by making $80 million at the box office this weekend. The film is also doing big numbers around the globe, pulling in an estimated $125 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Don’t wanna spoil it for you, but with the big numbers and the scene after the credits a sequel is inevitable.
