Virgin Galactic is about to resume its commercial flights later this year, after making changes to its spacecraft. On Wednesday, those wishing for a seat can drop a refundable $1,000 deposit as part of the company’s “One Small Step” initiative. Since its founding in 2004, 603 people have spent between $200,000 and $250,000 for a trip reservation. However, CEO George Whitesides recently said that price may substantially increase.
