What Color Should You Wear to a Job Interview?

If you are going in for a job interview, what outfit color will help you land the gig? According to a 2017 survey of 180 people who got hired and 1800 folks who didn’t, black is a definite winner. 70 percent of the people who wore mostly black were hired. Wearing black conveys leadership. Hiring managers were asked what colors are best and worst for interviews. The managers said black and blue are great, gray is safe, brown and orange are awful.

StyleCaster also says you should dress for the industry you are interviewing for and to not be too fashion-forward.
