The first Godzilla vs. Kong trailer brings the brawl

To quote Ken Watanabe in 2014’s Godzilla and/or the best GIF ever: “Let them fight.” After a nearly year-long delay due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Godzilla vs. Kong is on the horizon. The fourth film in Legendary Entertainment’s “Monsterverse” franchise after Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island, and Godzilla: King of Monsters is currently set for a simultaneous theatrical and HBO Max release in March, as part of Warner Bros. Entertainment’s industry-rattling strategy to combat lockdowns for the foreseeable future.

Robert Kirkman’s Animated Series ‘Invincible’ Gets Premiere Date On Amazon

Amazon has set a spring premiere date for Robert Kirkman’s adult animated series Invincible. The hour-long series from The Walking Dead creator will premiere Friday, March 26, 2021, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. The first three episodes of season one will premiere March 26, with new episodes available each Friday following, culminating in the season finale April 30.

‘Superman & Lois’ Sets Expanded Series Premiere & Special

It will be all Superman & Lois on The CW on Tuesday night, February 23. The network will be devoting the entire night to the present-day drama series, with an expanded 90-minute series premiere beginning at 8 PM ET/PT followed by a half-hour special, Superman & Lois: Legacy of Hope at 9:30 PM. To accommodate the additional programming, The Flash season premiere will move one week later, now airing at 9 PM Tuesday, March 2. The Flash originally was scheduled to premiere at 8 PM Tuesday, February 23 at 8 PM, followed by the series premiere of Superman & Lois at 9 PM.

 

Jared Leto-Led Morbius Gets Pushed Back Again to 2022

Following No Time to Die‘s most recent delay due to the ongoing pandemic, Sony Pictures has decided to follow suit and change the release date of their upcoming Spider-man spin-off film Morbius for the fourth time. Originally scheduled for an October 8, 2021 release, the Jared Leto-led film has been pushed back to next year and is now set to hit theaters on January 21, 2022.

‘A Quiet Place Part II’ gets delayed a third time for new 2021 release date

Horror and sci-fi movie fans are going to have to wait nearly five more months to watch “A Quiet Place Part II.” The Paramount Pictures sequel’s release date has been delayed a third time due to the coronavirus pandemic, and will hopefully debut in theaters on Sept. 17, accord to a new report from Variety.
