Robert Pattinson is Now Batman?

Matt Reeves, the director of the upcoming movie The Batman, broke his silence on the casting of Robert Pattinson in the film’s lead role. Rumors about Pattinson playing the superhero were circulating for a while, and on Friday, Variety reported that Pattinson will be the new Batman. Even though Warner Bros. has not provided an official confirmation of the movie’s cast yet, Reeves recently shared a cheeky post about Pattinson on Twitter. No words are shown in the post, however, Reeves added three bat emojis and a hilarious GIF of Pattinson with a serious stare. The tweet, which was shared on Monday morning, has generated more than 30,000 likes and 10,000 retweets so far. Additionally, DC also launched an official twitter account for The Batman on June 2.

Wesley Snipes To Star in Zombie Thriller Outbreak Z

The Hollywood Reporter has brought word that legendary action star Wesley Snipes (Blade, Demolition Man) will continue his work towards a big comeback with the upcoming zombie action thriller Outbreak Z, for which he will both star and executive produce the project. The film, written by Hamid Torabpour, Clint Narramore and Andrew Kightlinger and directed by stuntman Chris Brewster in his debut, will follow two SWAT officers on a desperate search on a college campus overrun by zombies for a man who holds the vaccine to prevent the apocalypse. Snipes, who is executive producing the film alongside Winter Falls Entertainment, Hamid and Camille Torabpour, is set to star as one of the officers in the film, while Brewster is still casting other roles, reportedly going back to his past as a stunt director to hire stunt men and women to star in the film. Production start is being eyed for summer in Minnesota, with Nashville-based songwriter Eric Arjesis attached to compose the score for the action horror film.

And yes, he’ll be playing a villain. Read his description of his role below. Werner Herzog, the director of films like Grizzly ManFitzcarraldo, and Aguirre, the Wrath of God, has lent his voice to several projects over the years (including a surprising number of animated comedy shows), but he also memorably played the villain known as “The Zec” in the 2012 Tom Cruise action movie Jack Reacher. Now he’ll adopt a new villain persona in a galaxy far, far away.
