Organizers Pull the Plug on 2021 Glastonbury Music Festival

The Glastonbury Music Festival has been called off for a second year in a row due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement released Thursday, organizers of the annual event say while they wanted to stage the June event as planned, coronavirus restrictions have prevented it from happening. “It will be another enforced fallow year for us,” the statement reads. “In spite of our efforts to move Heaven and Earth, it has become clear that we simply will not be able to make the Festival happen this year. We are so sorry to let you all down.”

Last year, festival organizers had planned a 50th-anniversary celebration with Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift headlining. No acts had been announced for this year’s canceled show.

Should everything be canceled for the rest of the year? What’s the best rock festival you’ve been to?
