Smashing Pumpkins Planning To Play Siamese Dream And Gish On Tour

Smashing Pumpkins could have some big plans in the next year. In addition to the release of a new record next month, the band is considering some classic album tours. Drummer Jimmy Chamberlin told NME that the Chicago rockers are toying with the idea of a tour for their Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and MACHINA albums, but also digging back to their earliest records, Siamese Dream and Gish. Chamberlin says that while “There’s a lot of interest in the band doing these album retrospectives,” there’s no schedule for it to happen yet. On November 16th, Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun. will be released with Chamberlin also admitting that the band is writing new material that could turn into a Volume 2.
