Weezer’s original music video for “Buddy Holly” in 1994 was a throwback to yesteryear, famously parodying the hit TV series Happy Days. On Tuesday, the alt-rockers took the song even further into the past. Teaming up with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Weezer performed the Blue Album track in the style of a barbershop quartet… plus a few extra members in matching suits. The latest music video from Weezer, “High As A Kite,” dropped last week and keeping with the band’s classic TV show themes, it’s inspired by Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. Also to come from Weezer, the Black Album, gets released on Friday.
