Meteorologist in Florida warns viewers that because of budget cuts, they will no longer be able to accurately predict hurricanes. John Morales, the meteorologist, said he is not sure if they will be able to warn the viewers of the future hurricanes because of “the cuts, the gutting, the sledgehammer attack on science in general”. Weather forecasts are now “flying blind” now having limited knowledge of upcoming storms. Morales never specifically mentioned Trump or the administration, but heavily implied that this concern started in January when the second term started.
Boner Candidate #2: PETE SAYS…’MAKE US PROUD’
Kingsley Wilson, known online for her intense online antisemitic conspiracies and neo-Nazi presence, has just been promoted to the Pentagon’s chief press secretary. Wilson has used the platform X to post about numerous antisemitic ideologies, and had openly praised the far-right German party, Alternative for Germany. She has brought up the Leo Frank case from 1915, the Jewish man wrongfully arrested that was pardoned in 1986. She posted, “Leo Frank raped & murdered a 13-year-old girl. He also tried to frame a black man for his crime” in 2023, and again in 2025. The pentagon is well aware of her posts, and some have pushed for her to be fired. Despite this, Pete Hegseth ignored the controversy and had replied “make us proud”.

Boner Candidate #3: SO I’M TAKING BETS ON THE DATE WE CHANGE THE NAME OF HARVEY MILK BLVD. HERE IN SLC
United States Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth, has just ordered that the Navy rename one of its ships. The John Lewis-class replenishment oiler USNS, named Harvey Milk is the ship being ordered to be renamed. Harvey Milk was one of the first openly gay elected officials in America, and was killed while working on the Board of Supervisors after passing a bill banning some discrimination of gay individuals. The reasoning behind the renaming is “alignment with president and SECDEF objectives and SECNAV priorities of reestablishing the warrior culture”. The timing of this is speculated to be a specified attack on the LGBTQ community, waiting until pride month for this proposal. CBS reported that the “Navy is also considering renaming other John Lewis-class oilers including the USNS Thurgood Marshall, USNS Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and USNS Harriet Tubman”.
