Boner of the Day for October 23rd, 2023

Boner Candidate #1: ‘Puentin Tarantino.’ DIDN’T HE DIRECT ‘SPILL BILL?’ OR ‘INGLORIOUS  BAKERS.’

Rashad Jennings was a contestant on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and must not know his Quentin Tarantino movies or even who Quentin Tarantino is based on one of  his answers while playing on the gameshow. The question was “Driving to Reno with _uentin Tarantino” and we all know the correct answer would be a “Q”. But not Jennings. Instead he guessed a “p”. This led to him losing the question and the crowd letting out a groan of disappointment.

Boner Candidate #2: I DIDN’T KNOW THAT CHILDREN WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE SYMBOLS OF A ‘SATANIC FEAST.’

In the Czech Republic, Roman Catholic priest, Father Jaromir Smejkal, released a public apology after destroying children’s jack-o-lanterns two days in a row. Why may you ask? Well first, Smejkal makes it known he didn’t know the pumpkins had been carved by children. The reason he uses for smashing the pumpkins to pieces is that Halloween is a “satanic feast”. The first day the pumpkins were on display in a park near the church that Smejkal is the priest of, he smashed them. The children who had carved the pumpkins became upset when they learned their pumpkins had been destroyed, so they carved more and put them on display. The next day, the pumpkins were smashed again. Smejkal apologized on the village Facebook page and didn’t say anything else on the matter.

Boner Candidate #3: DID SOMEONE THINK THIS WAS FUNNY?

At Michigan State University this past Saturday, a picture of Adolf Hitler was displayed on the video board of the football stadium. It has been revealed that it was an employee, that shall remain unnamed, who was responsible for the picture. The university has made it known all ties with this person have been cut, and that they deeply apologize. The responsible employee, however, is suspended with pay while there is an investigation. The university is supposed to screen videos and pictures put on the video boards before hand, so how did this picture get past all that? University spokesperson Matt Larson says that it was not fully viewed beforehand, showing failure on their part. “Ultimately, it is my responsibility to make sure all those who interact with Spartan Athletics feel safe, valued and respected…I apologize for the pain it has caused our community”, said Larson. It is also apparent to note this happened while the war between Israel and Hamas is happening and to also note that Hitler is responsible for the murders of 6 million Jews, both events showing extreme antisemitism.
