While tasting wine over a video chat with Dan Nicholl of Dan Really Likes Wine, Linkin Park bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell said that the band had been writing new music before COVID-19 struck. Due to the lockdown, Farrell said that he and his Linkin Park bandmates have been having Zoom meetings to have lunch together, but “been able to get together or write.”
