This isn’t hyperbole
The Florida Panhandle is on the verge of the most catastrophic hurricane to ever hit the region. Hurricane Michael is a Category 4 storm as of 10 AM ET on Wednesday morning with top sustained winds of 145 mph. There are nearly 30 million people in the path of the storm that could still grow stronger in the Gulf of Mexico before it makes landfall on Wednesday afternoon with a storm surge that could reach 14 feet. Florida Governor Rick Scott has cautioned residents, who have yet to flee, to stay put now as the time for trying to outrun the storm has come and gone.
This one is going to be bad and there will be a lot of people that need help, so please, if you can, donate to the American Red Cross to help in the relief.
