A social media creator has caused a stir by making a fake American Girl doll based on the current Karen stereotype. Adam the Creator posted the parody ad on social media featuring the Karen doll with the American Girl logo underneath. The Karen was described as “an independent thinker who refuses to wear a mask in public places.” Karen is wearing a sweatsuit, a scowl, and is carrying a gun.

American Girl fans were not too happy. It got the attention of American Girl corporate. When one fan expressed their disgust on Twitter, American Girl replied, “we were equally disgusted with this post. Please be assured we are taking the appropriate steps to ensure this is removed.”
