Fees At National Parks Waived For Veterans, Gold Star Families Starting November 11

Starting in less than two weeks, veterans and Gold Star families will be able to visit national parks for free.

Active-duty service members and their families are already granted free access, but the announcement this week broadens that benefit to about 20 million more individuals.

The policy will go into effect on Veterans Day, November 11, and includes places like Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming and Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.

What’s the best national park you have visited?
