Star Trek Discover 3rd Season – adds the shows first Transgender and Non-Binary characters

Star Trek: Discovery is set to introduce the show’s first ever transgender and non-binary characters in series three. Producers have confirmed that the new roles will make a debut on the third season next month. Ian Alexander will be taking on the role of transgender character, Gray, while Blu del Barrio will play the non-binary Adira.

Batman Day Sept 19th

Warner Bros. and DC have announced that Batman Day will be taking place on Sept. 19 with digital activities for fans all around the world. Batman Day will be taking on a digital bent in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. DC announced the annual event on Monday and shared that there will be items such as free digital comics, free activity kits for kids, a Batman Virtual 5K/10K Run/Walk, and even a digital mystery to solve.

Mandalorian Season 2

Are you ready? Previously announced for “October 2020,” the second season of The Mandalorian is set to arrive just within that time period: on October 30. Presumably, that’s only the first episode and the rest will follow weekly on Fridays, as with the first season.If you’ve not caught up on all things Mando in a galaxy far, far away – The Mandalorian season 2 is set to be pretty different compared to the first, at least in terms of cast members. Clone Wars stalwart (and all-round badass) Ahsoka Tano will make her live-action debut, played by Rosario Dawson. Timothy Olyphant has also signed on to appear, while Boba Fett – or at least, his armour – is scheduled to return for the first (Disney-canon) time since Return of the Jedi.
