There’s been a lot of mini-system news this week
With Playstation-mini and Genesis game packs on the way, this shouldn’t be a big shocker. Those that are fans of classic gaming consoles will love this news. Signs are pointing towards Nintendo releasing an N64 console in the not-so-distant future. Last summer, Nintendo filed a trademark application with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) for a Nintendo 64 controller. As recently as May, another trademark filing made its way into Japan for the N64. The European trademark shows a black and white image of the classic N64 controller. It’s very similar to images seen on the boxes for the re-released Super Nintendo console and the NES Classic console.
Hang on tight, because the Nintendo 64 Classic could still arrive this holiday season, taking on the #PlayStationClassic head on! https://t.co/K5n7Y4n3vu pic.twitter.com/4pOv1PZVQO
