A North Carolina man just successfully sued a man who had an affair with his wife for $8.8 million. Turns out North Carolina is one of the few states where spouses can sue over affairs. A judge awarded $8.8 mil to Keith King, who says the man ended his marriage and also cost him revenue since King’s wife worked for the company that he owned. King also claimed the affair cost him money for extra childcare and counseling. The “other man”, Francisco Huizar, plans to appeal.
