At one time, there were over 9,000 Blockbuster Video locations throughout the world. But they dwindled down to just a handful by last year. With five of the remaining six closing recently, only one is left standing. Whether for nostalgia or perhaps a poor internet connection, the Bend, Oregon franchise is still in operation, earning between five and ten new members each day.

According to Sandi Harding, who has managed the store for the last 15 years, the customers are “excited” to get their hands on the iconic blue and gold card. While there are no VHS tapes, renters have access to DVDs and video games. Even though the store feels like it’s stuck in time, they still have the latest releases.
