Twitter’s Most-Liked Post of All Time Goes to Chadwick Boseman

The announcement of the death of actor Chadwick Boseman to his Twitter account is now Twitter’s most-liked tweet. Twitter re-posted the announcement and captioned it, most liked Tweet ever. A tribute fit for a King. The tweet so far has been liked over 7.4 million times and counting.

The previous record-holder was the 2017 tweet from President Obama about Charlottesville, VA that said, no one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.

Obama’s tweet was liked 1.9 million times.

And ‘Black Panther’ is surging on Amazon and Apple Charts in Wake of Chadwick Boseman Death. With the sudden tragic loss of actor Chadwick Boseman to colon cancer on Friday, many are watching his movies again. On both Apple and Amazon charts, Black Panther is a top 5 movie. On Amazon the movie is #3 on their best-selling movies list as of Sunday morning.

On Apple it’s #4 on their best-selling list; #3 is Chadwick’s other movie, 42, the story of baseball pioneer Jackie Robinson.
