Volkswagen of America plans on changing its name to ‘Voltswagen’. Probably. Maybe.
Here’s the deal – the company announced this week that it would become ‘Voltswagen’ on Thursday. But that just happens to be April 1st – aka April Fool’s Day – so not everyone was convinced.

Now the company says it will be using the ‘Voltswagen’ name, but only for its electric vehicles. Gas-powered cars will still carry the Volkswagen name.
