Avril Lavigne Is Turning One Of Her Hit Songs Into A Movie Avril Lavigne is bringing one of her iconic songs to the big screen. In a new interview, the 37-year-old singer revealed she is working on adapting “Sk8er Boi” into a movie. Avril said on the She Is The Voice podcast, that with the almost 20th anniversary of the hit song, she’s going to turn it into a feature-length film “and take it to the next level” — but didn’t give any other details about the project. Avril released “Sk8er Boi” back in 2022; It reached the Billboard Top 10 in multiple countries, including the U.S. and Australia. Avril also has a new album coming out next year.
