Eddie Vedder Reveals Which Pearl Jam Album He Hated Making

Pearl Jam’s Vs. album turns 25 years old this month, but we might not be here to celebrate had Eddie Vedder thrown in the towel while recording. According to the frontman, the band’s sophomore effort is the record “I enjoyed making the least.” Rolling Stone reveals that Vedder hated the studio where the Seattle rockers were laying down the tracks, so he drove out to San Francisco to sleep in his truck for several days while writing the lyrics.

The rest of the band didn’t seem to mind however. Producer Brendan O’Brien joked how guitarist Stone Gossard “would show up in a robe and slippers to rock,” which actually annoyed Vedder during the sessions.
