England to Allow Indoor Concerts Beginning Next Month

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced Friday that the government will allow “live indoor performances” beginning August 1st, six months after the Coronavirus pandemic shut down live entertainment.

Performers, audiences, and venues will be required to maintain all social distancing guidelines during the reopening. If the live indoor concerts go well without any spike in new cases, Johnson said “stadium shows, conferences, and other business events” will be allowed to resume in October.

In the meantime, work is that we are not getting live concerts back until 2022 because some of you still think you don’t need to wear a mask or, like the guy I saw in Costco yesterday, wear one, but have it pulled off your nose. Thanks a lot!
