Trent Reznor Nominated For Two Emmy Awards

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor is up for a couple of Emmy awards for his work on HBO’s Watchmen. Reznor and his composing partner Atticus Ross are nominated for Original Dramatic Score for Watchmen’s soundtrack, as well as Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics for the song “The Way It Used To Be.”

Reznor’s movie work has already nabbed him an Oscar and Golden Globe for 2011’s The Social Network, and a Grammy for 2013’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. NIN was also voted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year as part of the Class of 2020.

When Nine Inch Nails was in its heyday, did you ever imagine Trent Reznor would be an Oscar-winning composer? Does he have a chance at an EGOT?
