Dracula’s Castle in Romania Offers Tourists Vaccine

Maybe Dracula’s castle isn’t exactly an ideal place to be poked, but there is an opportunity for tourists to sink their teeth into.

Tourists who visit Dracula’s castle in Romania are being offered Covid-19 vaccines.

Every weekend in May, tourists are offered the chance to get the vaccine and get a free tour of the castle’s many torture devices on display.

Alexandru Priscu, marketing director of the castle, said “The idea… was to show how people got jabbed 500-600 years ago in Europe.”

Romania has experienced more than a million reported cases of Covid-19 with 29 thousand deaths.
