Boner Candidate #1: SAY THE PLEDGE OR YOU GET THE PUSH
A 9th grader from River Bluff High School is filing a lawsuit after a teacher pushed them up against a wall, because they did not recite the pledge of allegiance. After being physically shaken by their teacher, Marissa Barnwell, was sent to the principals office. She was worried about being trouble but instead she was sent back to class without a full explanation. Marissa said, “No one has apologized, no one has acknowledged my hurt. … The fact that the school is defending that kind of behavior is unimaginable. I was completely and utterly disrespected.” The Lexington School District attorney has not yet commented.
Boner Candidate #2: NAZI SALUTES; PEPPER SPRAY AND PISTOLS.
There was an armed showdown in Wadsworth, Ohio at a storytelling event by drag performers. Multiple extremist groups were present, including white supremacists. Swastika flags, Nazi salutes, and shouts of “seig heil” caused a brawl that resulted in two arrests. Video was captured of an individual pulling a gun multiple times, and a flagpole used as a weapon. This is only a sample of confrontations around the U.S.A about drags events. Extremist groups have been claiming without proof, that drag shows are ‘grooming’ children for sexual abuse. Wadsworth police chief is aware about video footage of the incident.
Boner Candidate #3: NO ONE IN MINNESOTA IS HUNGRY
Minnesota State Sen. Steve Drazkowsk hasn’t met a single hungry person, in the entire state of Minnesota. That’s why he’s not sponsoring a bill that proposes free school meals to children. He claimed he has “yet to meet a person in Minnesota that is hungry.” Recent studies show that a quarter of Minnesota’s students that are suffering from substandard nutrition, do not qualify for food assistance. The recent bill propose would that every child, breakfast and lunch, would have those tools to succeed in school. “Hunger is a relative term… I had a cereal bar for breakfast, I guess I’m hungry now,” Steve Drazkowski said
