RIHANNA MELTDOWN AT THE GRAMMYS

Rihanna was screaming and hysterical before she bailed on the Grammys, but there are conflicting stories about what triggered her outburst. Sources connected with the show, and several sources who were not connected but present at the show, tell TMZ … the singer was loudly expressing displeasure over her rehearsal. They say she was loud and upset and, as we first reported, bailed on the event.  Rihanna’s people say she had a medical issue … bronchitis that was so bad she could not perform and that’s why she left. Sources close to RiRi tell us she was too upset to stay and watch the show.

Kanye West album ‘pirated 500,000 times’ already

Kanye West’s latest album has already been illegally downloaded more than half a million times, estimates Torrent Freak. The artist released The Life of Pablo on Jay-Z’s music streaming service Tidal two days ago. Thousands of subscribers have complained that they have been unable to download the album, despite paying for it. It is currently one of the most popular music downloads on The Pirate Bay.

Cranky Kanye skipped ‘SNL’ after-party

After Kanye West threatened to walk off the set of “SNL” during the live NBC telecast on Saturday night, he skipped the show’s after-party. Spies said that host Melissa McCarthy was one of the last guests to leave Zuma on Sunday morning when the bash ended. Others partying with the “SNL” cast included Jonah Hill, Super Bowl MVP Von Miller, Aziz Ansari and Jennifer Esposito.

Vanessa Hudgens under investigation for defacing Sedona red rock

Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler could be in serious trouble after carving their names into a rock in Sedona, Arizona. The couple is under investigation after they posted an Instagram photo of their names surrounded by a heart on one of the red rocks in the park, Page Six has confirmed. The Red Rock Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest was made aware of the situation on Monday, when the photo, which has since been deleted, was sent by multiple people to the office.

Bill Cosby loses appeal, case appears headed to evidence hearing

Bill Cosby‘s criminal sexual-assault case appears to be headed toward an evidence hearing after a judge denied his latest effort to throw the charges out. In a ruling Tuesday, the judge who refused to dismiss the case earlier this month denied Cosby’s appeal of that decision. The 78-year-old TV star is accused of drugging and violating an ex-Temple University employee at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004 and could get 10 years in prison if convicted. The defense insists Cosby had a promise from a previous district attorney that he would never be charged over the 2004 encounter.

Following Beyoncé’s very good, very black performance at the Super Bowl, a collection of people with little to do and even less sense announced that they would be holding an anti-Beyoncé rally at the NFL headquarters. Great idea, guys. That’ll show her. Unfortunately for the anti-Beyoncé movement, they don’t seem like a particularly dedicated bunch: Nobody showed up for the protest. The demonstration was supposed to be held at 8am today and was organized by something called Proud of the Blues, which is both a terrible and ironically perfect name.
