1. Raising Money for The Specialty Hospital of Utah
Join the forces for good and come participate in The 2015 Superhero Run with Salt Lake Comic Con! Proceeds will benefit the construction of the new Specialty Hospital of Utah. Come be a superhero for the patients and families who need this hospital!
This is not only a run, but a celebration complete with Live Music, Superheroes, Photo Booths, and treats from our great sponsors and vendors.
The Route: The 2015 Superhero Run will be held in Salt Lake City with a start and finish line at the Salt Palace Convention Center. The route will appeal to all ability levels.
The Specialty Hospital of Utah: The Specialty Hospital (formerly South Davis Community Hospital) is an award winning care facility consisting of more than 600 employees serving more than 2,000 children and their families each year at its campus in Bountiful, Utah. The hospital is currently in the process of rebuilding it facility to be able to better accommodate its patients and provide the highest quality care possible.
2. Breaking Guinness Records
Salt Lake Comic Con is attempting to break the existing World Record for the Largest Gathering of Comic Book Characters on Saturday, September 26, 2015. There will be an official Guinness adjudicate on hand to verify the world record attempt.
It is FREE to participate in and does not require an admission ticket to SLCC15 or the Superhero Run. All participants must be registered and dressed as an approved character from the list below.
Everyone who participates will get a FREE Salt Lake Comic Con World Record Attempt commemorative pin. Those with a valid Salt Lake Comic Con 2015 wristband will be allowed early entry into the Vendor Hall with VIP attendees.
