The 8 Best Commercials from Superbowl XLIX

Everybody loves a good commercial. In fact, there are probably a lot of you out there who watched the big game this past Sunday exclusively for the commercials. Whether you were waiting for a specific brand to wow you or you just wanted to see what was in store this year, there were probably very few of you who made your snack/bathroom run during the commercial breaks.

It goes without saying that most of the commercials this year did not disappoint. Here are our top 8:

8. BMW – New Fangled Idea

At? About? Can someone please explain what “Internet” is? When you’re done with that, please explain “twerking”.

7. FIAT – The Fiat Blue Pill

Losing your last blue pill in that moment is the stuff of nightmares. Works out well for the guy driving the Fiat though.

6. Skittles – Settle It

Settle it the usual way. Lemon Skittles are my favorite too… and I still haven’t fully forgiven them for discontinuing lime. Maybe I should call Skittles and ask them if they’ll settle it the usual way. Guarantee I’d win.

5. Avocados From Mexico – First Draft Ever

Random sports reference: Picking the Dodo was just like the San Diego Chargers picking Ryan Leaf over Peyton Manning in the 1998 NFL Draft. Poor choice.

4. Nationwide – Invisible Mindy Kaling

Is there anyone out there who hasn’t felt invisible at times? Then there were some of you creepers who wanted to be invisible after you saw Kevin Bacon’s Hollow Man.

3. Snickers – Brady Bunch

Ask me again and I might put this in the #1 spot. Let’s be honest, Steve Buscemi makes everything better. And it always is about Marcia. Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!

2. Budweiser – Lost Dog

Once again Budweiser puts together the perfect story to tug at your heart strings. Would have been #1 if it weren’t for Doritos…

1. Doritos – Middle Seat

I laughed so hard Ginger Ale came out of my nostrils.

Honorable Mentions:

Bud Light – Real Life Pac Man

You want to do this IRL. SO. DO. I!!

Loctite – Positive Feelings

Double dog dare you to spend $5M to put an ad like this on TV.
