Fresh X: Listen to Australian Hard Rock Band Hands Like Houses’ ‘Colourblind’

If you have been following post-hardcore act, Hands Like Houses, then you might have heard they released a new video/single titled “Colourblind.”

If not, then listen below. You may hear a mixture of Incubus, Linkin Park, and The Used influences.

“Colourblind” is the third single release from their upcoming third full-length album, Dissonants. The new set of songs is shaping up to be the most aggressive and steady-handed effort from the band yet. As opposed to the wild & Choatic Ground Dweller and the sleek/polished rock anthems of Unimagine.

Here’s what the band had to say to Billboard, concerning the new single/album:

“It feels damned good to get this one out — even more so with such a sweet video by our dear friend Megan Thompson,” says singer Trenton Woodley of the song. “ ‘Colourblind is about our cultural obsession with binary ideas — we are black or white, politically left or right, for or against, right or wrong. We’re so caught up in black, white and the infinite shades of gray we forget that we live in a world of color — those we can see and then even deeper, beyond and between.”

You can expect to hear Dissonants in full on February 26.
